Junto a ellos, si no se interviene a tiempo durante esta etapa, la amenaza de padecer complicaciones importantes que van desde la obesidad, diabetes mellitus tipo 2 y enfermedades cardiovasculares, entre otras, aumenta. Ante la falta de representatividad de este colectivo en los proyectos educativos, he decidido crear uno dirigido a él para completar dicha carencia. Objetivos: disminuir las consecuencias del SOP en las adolescentes, promoviendo su autocuidado. Metodología: se llevará a cabo un proyecto educativo que consta de 4 sesiones de una hora respectivamente, formadas de seis a ocho participantes, en las que se tratarán aspectos como afectación del SOP, hábitos saludables, entre otros. Implicaciones para la práctica enfermera: llevar a cabo este proyecto educativo abordando este colectivo, implicaría adquirir mayores capacidades en el campo de la educación para la salud, y a su vez, se obtendrá una metodología de abordaje del SOP dentro del colectivo de las adolescentes, previamente hipotético para la enfermería, que atenderá la forma de enfocar dicha afectación. Introduction: The involvement of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) during adolescence is quite relevant, influencing from representative physical changes to the mental health of patients. Along with them, without intervention in time during this stage, the threat of suffering important complications ranging from obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases, among others, increases. Given the lack of representativeness of this group in educational projects, I have decided to create one aimed at it to fill this lack. Objectives: to reduce the consequences of PCOS in adolescent’s girls by promoting their self care. Methodology: an educational project will be carried out that consisting of 4 sessions of 1h respectively, formed by 6 to 8 participants, in which aspects such as PCOS affection, healthy habits, among others, will be discussed.
