Abstract

Parece que los verbos ver y oír , del ámbito de los sentidos, son importantes en Números 13-14, tanto en la afirmación de Dios como en la que realizan los exploradores. Este artículo centra su interés en ese punto, y en las conclusiones que de él se pueden deducir. Tiene también en consideración la frustrante intercesión de Moisés delante de Dios en nombre de su pueblo, motivada por la amenaza a Israel y a su entrada en la tierra prometida.

It seems that in Numbers 13-14 the verbs see and hear, both sentient verbs, are important in both the statement of God and that of the Spies. This article focuses on this particular point and in the conclusions which can be drawn from it. It also considers the frustrating intercession of Moses before God on behalf of his people, on account of the threat to Israel about the promised land.
