This report presents findings from the 2025 Working in Ireland Survey, one of the most comprehensive studies of worker health, wellbeing, and psychosocial working conditions across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Results indicate that most workers report good general health and moderate levels of work-related stress, although a significant minority experience poorer psychological wellbeing, fatigue, and emotional strain. The report identifies inequalities across sectors, demographic groups, and working arrangements, with higher risks observed in health services, transport, hospitality, and retail sectors. Findings also show that high job demands, difficulties disconnecting from work, limited managerial support, and exposure to bullying or harassment are associated with poorer health outcomes.
