Déjame hacer otro lugar

Abstract

Desde el colectivo Generando Arte, una vez más, nos unimos para colaborar con nuestras obras y apoyar a las jornadas que tienen lugar en la Universidad Carlos III. Con ello tenemos la intención de concienciar a la sociedad del grave problema que supone el envejecimiento de la población y todos los efectos que de esto se derivan; la dependencia de estas personas y la de sus cuidadores o cuidadoras, haciéndolo desde nuestras diferentes obras plásticas. Dichas obras enfatizarán aspectos psicosociológicos, generacionales y de género. Teniendo en cuenta , como se ha demostrado a lo largo de la historia, que las mujeres eran y siguen siendo, en una gran mayoría, las que cuidaban y cuidan de los mayores, trataremos de exponer este hecho en su justa medida, ya que las encuestas nos dicen que las poblaciones envejecen cada vez más y la longevidad no siempre es sinónimo de buena salud. Por eso queremos dejar constancia de nuestro reconocimiento hacia estas mujeres-cuidadoras que siempre han estado en el más absoluto de los anonimatos. Por lo tanto, el colectivo Generando Arte, creyendo que existe al respecto un grave problema social y aprovechando la Clausura del Seminario sobre el proyecto CM: LEDYEVA (Cuidadores/as de Mayores: situación actual ante la Ley de Dependencia y eva luación de programas destinados a cuidadores/as), piensa que es una buena oportunidad para participar con obras que pongan de relieve estas situaciones.

From the collective Generating Art, once again, we join to collaborate with our work and support the conference taking place at the Carlos III University. This we intend to raise public awareness of the serious problem posed by the aging of the population and all the effects of this are derived; reliance on these people and their carers or caregivers, making it from our different artistic works. These works emphasize social psychological, generational and gender. Given, as has been shown throughout history, women were and still are, in the vast majority, who cared and care for the elderly, we try to explain this in perspective, since surveys tell us that populations age and increasing longevity is not always synonymous with good health. So we want to express our gratitude to these women-carers who have always been in the most absolute anonymities. Therefore, the collective Generating Art, believing that there is about a serious social problem and taking advantage of the closing of the seminar on the project CM: LEDYEVA (Caretakers / as Major: Current situation before the Law Unit and EVALUATION of programs for caregivers / as), thinks it is a good opportunity to participate with works that highlight these situations.
