Formación y adiestramiento sensible al género del personal cívico-militar y el empoderamiento de la mujer. Reflexiones en torno a las Operaciones de Paz en el marco de la Política Exterior y de Seguridad de la Unión Europea

Abstract

En este libro se ofrecen los resultados obtenidos por el equipo investigador que ha desarrollado el proyecto titulado: Formación y adiestramiento del personal cívico-militar y el empoderamiento de la mujer. Reflexiones en torno a las operaciones de paz en el marco de la política exterior y de Seguridad Común de la Unión Europea , subvencionado por la Oficina de Derechos Humanos del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación de España. Se abordan los distintos obstáculos que dificultan una correcta una correcta formación/adiestramiento sensible al género, en el contexto de las operaciones de paz. Se ofrece un innovador enfoque integral, incorporando y combinando las estrategias del gender mainstreaming y del empoderamiento, con especial atención al personal civil y militar que desempeña sus funciones en una misma Zona de Operaciones.

This book offers the results obtained by the research team that has developed the project titled: "Training of civic-military personnel and the empowerment of women. Reflections on peace operations in the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union ", supported by the Office of Human Rights of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain. The different obstacles to correct gender-sensitive training / training in the context of peace operations are addressed. It offers an innovative, holistic approach, incorporating and combining the strategies of gender mainstreaming and empowerment, with special attention to civilian and military personnel who perform their functions in the same Operations Area.
