Recepción en la Iglesia de bautizados no católicos

Abstract

El bautismo genera entre las diversas Iglesias cristianas unos vínculos reales de comunión. Esta real comunión aunque imperfecta hace posible la recepción en la Iglesia católica de quienes recibieron un bautismo válido en otras Iglesias o comunidades eclesiales no católicas sin necesidad de bautizarse de nuevo Para ser recibidos en la Iglesia católica deben hacer la profesión de fe, después de recibir una instrucción adecuada. El derecho vigente exige para la incorporación plena a la Iglesia católica el reconocimiento del símbolo de la fe, de los sacramentos y el régimen eclesiástico como expresión de la unión con Jesucristo en la institución visible de la Iglesia católica.Verificada la recepción en la Iglesia católica de un adulto no católico mediante la profesión de fe y la inscripción correspondiente, la legislación vigente les equipara a los bautizados en la Iglesia católica.
