Utilización de fajas lumbopélvicas como tratamiento para el dolor lumbopelvico relacionado con el embarazo

Abstract

- Objetivo : Analizar la efectividad de las fajas lumbopélvicas como tratamiento para el dolor lumbar que aparece durante el periodo de gestación, estudiando la influencia de estas, tanto la laxitud de las articulaciones sacroiliacas como la funcionalidad. - Estudio : Estudio analítico, experimental, prospectivo y simple ciego . - Material y métodos: Se realiza un estudio con un total de 84 sujetos, estos son divididos de forma aleatoria en un grupo control y un grupo intervención, 42 a cada uno. Al primer grupo se le colocara una faja FARMALASTIC T3 con una fuerza de 50N, mientras que el otro no recibirá ninguna intervención. Se estudiaran el dolor, la laxitud y la funcionalidad mediante los test “Doppler imaging of vibration”, “Numerical Rating Scale Score” y “The Quebec Back Pain Disability” y se estudiaran los resultados.

- Purpose: The present document is aimed to analyse the effectiveness of the pelvic belts as a treatment for the lower back pain that develops during pregnancy, deepen in their influence over the sacro-iliac joints laxity, as well as their functionality. - Study: Analytical study, experimental, prospective and single-blind. - Material and methods: The present study involves 84 individuals who are randomly divided between two different groups, control group and intervention group. 42 individuals are assigned to each group.Patients belonging to the first group are due to wear a FARMALASTIC T3 pelvic belt (binder/strip?), with a force of 50N; while members of the second group receive no treatment. Pain, laxity and functionality will be analysed using the “Doppler imaging of vibration”, “Numerical Rating Scale Score” and “The Quebec Back Pain Disability” methods. Eventually, all the results obtained will be evaluated.
