Judit, la mujer que contempla a Dios en la historia de su pueblo

Abstract

El artículo estudia la figura de Judit en el libro que lleva su nombre, para subrayar la dimensión contemplativa de esta mujer. La narración establece un vínculo entre su experiencia creyente y su compromiso por la liberación de su pueblo. De Judit se destaca su gran confianza y esperanza, su capacidad para abrirse a Dios y para implicarse arriesgando la vida en favor de su pueblo. En relación con Dios se sitúa como criatura que deja que Dios actúe en ella.

The article studies the figure of Judith in this book, to underline the contemplative dimension of this woman. The narration establishes a link between his believing experience and his commitment to the liberation of her people. Judit stands out for her great confidence and hope, her capacity to open to God and to get involved risking the life in favor of her people. In relation to God she stands as a creature that lets God act in her.
