When coupling the vibration behavior of two structures, it is essential to know the exact position of sensors and force inputs. However, there are several praxis problems with the determination of their exact geometric location. A first approach will try to have the exact location with optimization procedures. Sensor positions shall minimize the deviation of the measurements. The goal of this work is to validate this methodic as well as allowing an extension for more optimization variables.es_ES
The work will take as a first step the theoretical analysis of the Dynamical Substructuring to understand the coupling of substructures. From the coupling, a Frequency Responsed Function from the Substructure will be obtained. This function can be affected by several noise parameters, like the Hammer Noise, the Sensor Noise and the Hammer Force. Its influence on the response will be studied in order to minimize their effects in the post-processing of the signal. The next step will be focused on tackling different forms to find an optimal position and rotation for all the sensors and hammer point impacts. With the existent optimization techniques, the optimal Null Space solution is not correctly found. With a hypothesis of a Rigid Body Rotation, the Rotational Degrees of Freedom will be perfectly solved. To solve the Translational Degrees of Freedom, an Expansion Mode will be developed using a vector that joins the Virtual Point with every object. The location of each object will be estimated. If some aspects from the practical and theoretical knowledge are taken into account, like the impact lines and the position of one sensor and one hammer are known, a better solution will be obtained. One optimization algorithm was developed to determine how far the optimal solution from the Null Space is, it is the Penalty Term optimisation. This deviation will be pondered with a parameter Alpha, which needs to find a balance between good convergence of the solution and execution time. Another optimization algorithm developed, was a combination from both Expansion Mode and Rigid Body Rotation with the Projection Mode. The technique will project all the optimization variables into their Null Space with the Gram-Schmidt Theory. The vectors used will be the directions of each input and output, the impact lines and the Expansion Vector.en-GB
