Mujeres gobernantes a lo largo de la Historia. Tres ejemplos : Isabel la Católica, Catalina la Grande, Margaret Thatcher

Abstract

"Este trabajo pretende realizar una comparativa entre tres de las grandes mujeres gobernantes de la historia, en un periodo de tiempo que abarca desde el siglo XV hasta prácticamente nuestros días. Se centrará en tres gobernantes: Isabel la Católica, Catalina la Grande y Margaret Thatcher. Se analizará, en primer lugar, la figura de cada una de ellas, vinculada con las circunstancias bajo las que accedieron al poder y la percepción que de ellas se tenía. Además se tratará de explicar y comparar como actuaron estas mujeres, por qué lo hicieron de tal modo y las consecuencias que esto tuvo tanto sobre su propia figura como sobre sus estados, resaltando los grandes hitos y desafíos de sus tiempos y como estas los confrontaron."

"This project aims to make a comparison between three of the great ruling women of history, in a period of time ranging from the fifteenth century to virtually our days. It is going to be focused on three rulers: Isabel the Catholic, Catherine the Great and Margaret Thatcher. First of all, it will analyze the figure of each ruler, explaining how they reached the power and the perception that the society of the time had of them. In addition, it will analyze and compare how this women acted, why they did it in such a way and the consequences this had not only in the public opinion, but also in the configuration of their states, therefore it will be highlight the great challenges they confronted"
