El giro eclesiológico en la recepción del Vaticano II

Abstract

Este libro reflexiona sobre la recepción del Vaticano II en el pontificado del Papa Francisco. La eclesiología misionera del Papa argentino prolonga las líneas directrices del Concilio. La novedad del ministerio de Francisco brilla en la exhortación apostólica Evangelii gaudium (2013). Este texto está arraigado en la tradición de la Iglesia Latinoamericana, de manera especial en el proyecto de la V Asamblea General del Episcopado Latinoamericano y del Caribe, celebrada en Aparecida (Brasil, 2007). El pontificado de Francisco, primer papa latinoamericano, muestra que el viento de Dios sopla fuerte desde el sur. Un punto central de su eclesiología del pueblo de Dios es la opción preferencial por los pobres y excluidos, una Iglesia pobre y para los pobres. La Iglesia católica vive con Francisco tiempos nuevos.

This book reflects on the reception of Vatican II in the pontificate of Pope Francis. The missionary ecclesiology of Argentinian Bishop of Rome follows the path laid out in Vatican II. The novelty of Francis' ministry shines forth in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii gaudium (2013). This text is rooted in a tradition of Latin American Church to which it is attached especially the missionary project of the Fifth General Gathering of the Episcopate of Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Aparecida (Brazil, 2007). The pontificate of Francis, first Latin American pope, shows that the Breath of God is blowing strongly from the South. A core point of his ecclesiology -people of God- is the preferential treatment of the poor and excludes, a poor Church and for the poor. The catholic Church lives a new time.
