La Economia de las Bienaventuranzas. Pistas para avanzar en compromisos transformadores y liberadores

Abstract

Este libro pretende releer las Bienaventuranzas tratando de entenderlas, analizarlas y, en su caso, actuar desde el ámbito de la economía. Parte de algunas premisas como son una visión humanista de la economía al servicio de la personas y de la casa común y de unos valores que anteponen lo comunitario a lo individual, lo público a lo privado, los procesos a los resultados, la diversidad a la uniformidad y la equidad al trato diferenciado. Desde una visión cristiana de la economía, plantea los grandes temas y retos que ya abrió Jesús de Nazaret hace 2000 años y ofrece alternativas concretas para el día a día de las personas que se plantean vivir acorde a lo que creemos. Con este libro se quiere avanzar en esa economía que está a nuestro alcance construir: en lo personal, en lo familiar, en lo comunitario, en lo cotidiano para visibilizar alternativas a este sistema y a esta economía que mata, (como bien dice Francisco), y que son posibles, realizables, históricas, concretas. Que nos toca realizar a quienes creemos que, de verdad, es posible alumbrar otra economía al servicio de la persona, especialmente las más empobrecidas, en la lógica del don y la comunión.

This book aims to re-read the Beatitudes, trying to understand, analyze and, where appropriate, act from the field of economics. the starting point is a humanistic vision of the economy at the service of people and the common house and brings up values which put the community before the individual, the public to the private, the processes to the results, the diversity to the uniformity and equal treatment. From a Christian view of the economy, it raises the great issues and challenges that Jesus of Nazareth opened 2000 years ago and offers concrete alternatives for the day to day of people who consider living according to what we believe. This book aims to advance in that type of economy that is within our possibilities to build, in the personal, in the familiar, in the community, in the everyday and to make visible the alternatives to this system and this economy that kills, (as it says Francisco), and that they are possible, achievable, historical, concrete. That we have to realize those who believe that, really, it is possible to light another economy at the service of the person, especially the most impoverished, in the logic of the gift and the community.
