Sexualidad y Celibato. Una perspectiva antropológica.

Abstract

Se aborda el tema de la vivencia de la sexualidad en personas célibes. El artículo tiene tres partes. La primera consiste en una exposición sumaria de algunas afirmaciones generales que enmarcan el punto de partida del autor. En la segunda parte se habla de algunos conflictos vividos por célibes en relación con su sexualidad, con una especial mención a Internet. En la tercera parte se exponen algunos aspectos psico-sociales que, siendo cuidados, podrían ayudar a que las personas célibes vivan su opción felizmente. Se hace especial hincapié en la necesidad de promover relaciones de intimidad en tres niveles: con Dios, interpersonal e institucional.

The article discusses how celibate people experience sexuality. The article is composed of three parts. The first section consists of a summary of some generalstatements which form the basis of the author s discussion. In the second section, some of the conflicts experienced by celibate people with regards to their sexuality are discussed, making special mention of the Internet. In the third section, some psychosocial aspects that, if dealt with, could help celibate people live their lifestyle choice happily. Special emphasis is placed on the need to promote intimate relationships on three levels: with God and on an interpersonal and an institutional level.
