Woman, freemason and Spanish: freemasonry and the origins of feminism

Abstract

Este trabajo estudia el papel de la mujer en la Masonería española, especialmente durante el siglo XIX. Se menciona el papel asignado a la mujer en las Constituciones de Anderson (1723), se citan los orígenes de la Masonería de Adopción y, a continuación, se analiza el papel asignado a la mujer en la Masonería, analizando principalmente el caso de España, donde las mujeres integradas en la Masonería fueron también, en muchos casos, las que sentaron las bases del Feminismo español.

This paper studies the role of women in the Spanish Masonry, especially during the nineteenth century.
