The system of international relations in the Middle East is constantly being reformed due to the convergence and reinforcement of pressures at the local, regional and international levels, furthermore, it is not surprising that some countries in the region have wished to hold a leading position in relation to their neighbors at some point. The case of Qatar is one of the most significant, due to its geographical situation, this small peninsula is surrounded by some of the most aggressive regional powers in the Middle East: Saudi Arabia, with whom it shares its only land border, Iran, with whom it shares one of the largest natural gas fields in the world, and Iraq, whose border is bathed, like that of Qatar, by the extremely oil-rich Persian Gulf. For this reason, this paper tries to analyze the blockade that has been imposed on Qatar from the perspective of the blockade as a political weapon, to observe what are the objectives pursued by the parties involved and what they seek to achieve.en-GB
