La creación de obra en la agenda comercial entre la UE y Chile.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación analiza las relaciones comerciales y de inversión entre la Unión Europea y la República de Chile, en materia de la Propiedad Intelectual. Hace ya varios años que se llevó a cabo el Acuerdo de Asociación más importante entre estas dos regiones y sin embargo, la protección de los derechos en esta materia, no fue suficiente. El objetivo del trabajo es manifestar la relevancia de la modernización del Acuerdo de Asociación para la defensa de la creación proveniente del intelecto humano, sea en los campos artísticos, literarios, industriales o científicos. Esto permitirá que las relaciones se acomoden a los nuevos desarrollos tecnológicos y legales del siglo XXI.

This research paper analyses the trade and investment relations between the European Union and the Republic of Chile in the field of Intellectual Property. It has been several years since the most important Association Agreement was concluded between these two regions; however, the protection of rights in this area was not sufficient. The objective of the work is to manifest the relevance of the modernization of the Association Agreement for the defense of the creation coming from the human intellect, be it in the artistic, literary, industrial or scientific fields. This will allow relations to adapt to the new technological and legal developments of the 21st century.
