Abstract

Cada año miles de niños y de niñas en todo el mundo se convierten en victimas de una violencia silenciada. Esta violencia adopta muchas formas y se adapta a muchos contextos, pero actualmente la realizada a través de las redes sociales está creciendo. Es evidente la necesidad de conocer y hacer visible este fenómeno para saber como abordarlo, así como poner los recursos adecuados para solucionarlo. Al mismo tiempo, es esencial reducir el riesgo de alcance de este tipo de acoso que podría causar consecuencias psicológicas graves en los adolescentes que la padecen y en la sociedad. Para conseguirlo, lo primero es realizar un recorrido sobre las nuevas tecnologías y las aportaciones a la cultura y como su uso masivo afecta a los adolescentes. Además, se debe diferenciar los conceptos de pedofilia y pederastia, de forma que quede el perfil del agresor y las vulnerabilidades de la víctima. Finalmente, se debe trabajar para realizar propuestas o recomendaciones de detección precoz del fenómeno y para la rehabilitación de los agresores.

Every year thousands of children all over the world become victims of silenced violence. This violence is done in many ways and is part of various contexts, but currently, the violence made through social networks is growing up. It is clear the need to know and make visible this phenomenon, in order to know how to approach it, as well as, to put the appropriate resources to solve it. Meanwhile, it is essential to reduce the risk of this type of harassment that could cause serious psychological consequences in adolescents who suffer from it and in society. To achieve this, the first thing we must do is taking a tour of the new technologies and contributions to the culture and how its massive use affects adolescents. In addition, the concepts of pedophilia and pederasty should be differentiated, so that the profile of the aggressor and the vulnerabilities of the victim. Therefore, a lot of work must be done to make proposals or recommendations for early detection of this phenomenon and for the rehabilitation of the offenders.
