La presente publicación, primera tesis doctoral del autor, es una aproximación a las claves antropológicas de Tertuliano y, por tanto, una reconstrucción de la entera antropología de tan afamado e influyente apologeta del siglo III. Aunque se tienen en cuenta los textos de toda su obra, se han querido resaltar las aportaciones de su obra principal, el Adversus Marcionem, por haber sido fruto de una amplia revisión por parte del mismo Tertuliano. Este volumen pone de manifiesto, entre otras cosas, la visión asiática que adquiere la antropología de Tertuliano, que bebe de autores tan importantes como San Justino o San Ireneo de Lyon.
