This article will investigate how death can be conquered through faith. Christians
defeat death by embracing the death of Christ and his way of approaching
it. On this basis, we discover that death can be conquered: by living (discovering
the dimension of eternity that inhabits us), by loving (that is, devoting our life
to God) and by dying (integrating it into life as a process). An existence lived
in faith, hope and love shapes the possibility of a free, believing, expectant and
loving death. A death that can only be interpreted as falling into the hands of the
God who embraces and fulfils our life and dreams.
