Este es el caso de Flüchtlingsgespräche, de Bertolt Brecht, que fue traducida en España, por primera vez, en 1970, durante el régimen de Franco y retraducida durante la democracia, en 1990. Este trabajo estudiará cómo afectó la censura al contenido de Diálogos de Fugitivos (1970) y qué elementos del lenguaje crítico y revolucionario de Brecht no pudieron, bajo ningún concepto, publicarse. De esta forma se pretende entender cuáles eran los parámetros y las líneas rojas del órgano censor español en este contexto determinado y comprobar si la retraducción se hizo a partir del original en alemán, o fue una mera revisión de la edición de 1970. Este trabajo fin de grado se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación RetraRec (Retraducción y Recepción) liderado por la profesora Susanne M. Cadera del departamento de Traducción e Interpretación y Comunicación Multilingüe de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid. Retranslation appears to be a phenomenon that renews the language and older translations, while at the same time it consists on translating an original work in a different historical context. This is the case of Bertolt Brecht's Flüchtlingsgespräche, which was first translated in Spain in 1970 –during the Franco regime– and retranslated during the democracy in 1990. This paper will study how censorship affected the content of Diálogos de fugitivos (1970) and which elements of Brecht's critical and revolutionary language could not, under any circumstances, be published. In this way, it aims to understand what the parameters and red lines of the Spanish censorship body were in this particular context, and to check whether the retranslation was made from the original in German, or was a mere revision of the 1970 edition.
