Diseño e implantación de biodigestor para comunidad rural en Kazai, Zimbabwe

Abstract

Este proyecto surge de la necesidad de cubrir las necesidades básicas energéticas que aún sufren zonas rurales de África. En concreto, se centra en diseñar un biodigestor adaptándolo a la aldea de Kazai en Zimbabue y, posteriormente, ir allí para instalarlo. De esta manera, este trabajo va más allá del aspecto técnico y aborda también una necesidad social.

En el mismo, se presentan los verdaderos problemas y carencias de la generación y del suministro de energía de Zimbabue y cómo la implantación de un biodigestor puede contribuir a: frenar la deforestación, aumentar la calidad de vida y laboral de las personas locales, hacer que Kazai sea autosufi ciente en el aspecto energético con la generación de biogás y mejorar los cultivos a través de la producción de efluente.

This project comes up due to the necessity to cover the basic needs regarding energy supply that many rural regions in Africa still suffer. This plan is focused speci cally on adapting the design of a biodigester in the small town of Kazai in Zimbabue, and in the implementation of the model by going there. Therefore, this plan goes beyond the technical facet and also adresses a social scarcity.

In the content, the main problems of energy generation and supply are revealed, as well as how the implementation of the device contributes to: raising the quality of life and the quality of the jobs of the locals, helping Kazai to be self-sufficient regarding energy thank to the production of biogas and colaborating in the progress of the agriculture thak to the fertilizer created.
