Trastornos de la conducta alimentaria y relaciones familiares

Abstract

El objetivo principal del presente trabajo se dirige a analizar la función que cumple el Trastorno de la Conducta Alimentaria (TCA) dentro del contexto familiar en el que se desarrolla. A través de la comprensión de esta patología como síntoma de disfunción sistémica, se extraen las prácticas parentales y las características relacionales entre la paciente identificada y sus progenitores, que influyen parcial y decisivamente en la aparición, desarrollo, y recuperación del trastorno. La bibliografía existente sugiere que, de cara a conseguir la supresión del síntoma, es pertinente el trabajo terapéutico desde un enfoque sistémico, propiciando así, la reconstrucción del sistema familiar mientras se descentraliza el foco de atención de la paciente identificada.

The main aim of the project is to analyze the role of Eating Disorder within the family context in which it develops. Through the understanding of this pathology as a symptom of systemic dysfunction, it is understood how parental practices and relational characteristics between the identified patient and her parents partially but decisively influence the appearance, progress, and recovery of the disorder. Current bibliography suggests that, in order to achieve the elimination of the symptom, therapeutic work from a systemic approach is pertinent, thus promoting the reconstruction of the family system by decentralizing the focus of attention of the identified patient.
