| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo analiza la aplicación de los Convenios de Ginebra de 1949 a la guerra contra el terror iniciada por Estados Unidos tras los ataques terroristas del 11 de septiembre de 2001, con especial mención de las protecciones reconocidas a los detenidos bajo el III Convenio de Ginebra relativo al trato debido a los prisioneros de guerra. Asimismo, este trabajo estudia la violación por parte de Estados Unidos de la prohibición del uso de la tortura y los tratos crueles, inhumanos o degradantes en el centro de detención de Guantánamo. | es_ES |
