El Protocolo SVA como sistema de análisis de validez de las declaraciones en contextos forenses

Abstract

El SVA (Statement Validity Assesment) es una herramienta validada en la Psicología Forense para la valoración de la credibilidad del testimonio de menores víctimas de abusos sexuales. Su principal componente es el CBCA (Criteria Based Content Analysis). Su aplicación requiere gran rigor metodológico y no está exenta de subjetividad. La apreciación y valoración de la prueba corresponde, en última instancia, a la autoridad judicial. La propuesta integradora del Sistema de Evaluación Global (SEG) trata de superar las limitaciones derivadas de la aplicación del Protocolo SVA.

The SVA (Statement Validity Assesment) is a validated tool in the field of Forensic Psychology that is applied to the assesment of the credibility of testimony in child victims of sexual abuse. Its main component is the CBCA (Criteria Based Content Analysis). Its application requires great methodological rigor and is not exempt from subjectivity. The assessment and evaluation of the evidence corresponds, ultimately, to the judicial authority. The integrative proposal of the Global Evaluation System tries to overcome the limitations derived from the application of the SVA Protocol.
