This volume on Argentine foreign policy has several visible merits. The

The famous tango Volver composed by the distinguished artists Carlos Gardel and
Alfredo Le Pera has been covered countless times because, in his simple lyrics,
reveals human certainties almost always forgotten: the speed of the march of the
history, the mark that the past leaves on the present and the finiteness of projects
personal. This book, in a very modest way, has wanted to revisit history
recent history of Argentina to understand the meanders of its last forty
years of foreign policy. The keen reader will find that Gardelian certainties
and leperianas apply (and explain), surprisingly, also to the focus of study
that we are dealing with in our humble volume.
