<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es-ES" mdschema="dc">Este proyecto capturará el proceso de diseño, fabricación y montaje de dedos bioinspirados para un actuador neumático. El objetivo es crear una garra bioinspirada basada en el Efecto Fin-Ray pero adaptada a las tareas objetivo y los componentes existentes. La garra estará destinada a manipular objetos frágiles en un entorno colaborativo similar al de un laboratorio.
Los diseños se realizarán en CAD y se simularán en Ansys, para luego fabricarse mediante fabricación aditiva y probarse en condiciones similares a las de un laboratorio.
Para este propósito, este documento abarcará la investigación en tecnología de actuación y biomimética de última generación para determinar la mejor tecnología para nuestro objetivo. Además, se investigarán los materiales y se simulará la elección de los materiales a lo largo de los diseños CAD. El diseño con mejor rendimiento se imprimirá en 3D y se agregará a un brazo robótico ABB y un actuador neumático SCHUNK para realizar pruebas.</dim:field>
<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="en-GB" mdschema="dc">This project will capture the design, manufacturing, and assembly process of bio-inspired fingers for a pneumatic actuator. The aim is to create a bio-inspired claw based on the Fin-Ray Effect but adapted to the objective tasks and the existing components. The claw will be destined to manipulate fragile objects in a lab-like collaborative environment.
The designs will be performed in CAD and simulated in Ansys, later manufactured via additive manufacture, uring and tested in lab-like conditions.
For this purpose this paper will encompass research in actuation technology and state-of-the-art biomimetics to determine the best technology for our aim. Additionally, materials will be researched and the choice of materials simulated along the CAD designs. The best performing design will be 3d printed and added to a robotic ABB arm and pneumatic SCHUNK actuator for testing.</dim:field>
