Tokens agrícolas

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza la regulación existente relativa a los tokens agrícolas, así como las lagunas y los puntos más problemáticos de la regulación de estos activos. Para ello se va a comenzar por distinguir los distintos conceptos de los tokens y la tecnología blockchain para posteriormente ahondar en los tokens agrícolas y las particularidades de estos productos. En concreto se va a incidir en la oferta pública y las obligaciones de los emisores de estos productos, así como en la ejecución de venta de estos productos y las características de un mercado secundario de los mismos. Todo este análisis regulatorio se lleva a cabo aplicando la teoría a un caso práctico real como es Agrotoken, la primera plataforma de tokenización de productos agrícolas.

This paper analyzes the existing regulation of agricultural tokens, as well as the gaps and the most problematic points in the regulation of these assets. To do so, we will begin by distinguishing the different concepts of tokens and blockchain technology and then delve into agricultural tokens and the particularities of these products. Specifically, the public offering and the obligations of the issuers of these products will be discussed, as well as the execution of the sale of these products and the characteristics of a secondary market for them. All this regulatory analysis is carried out by applying the theory to a real case study such as Agrotoken, the first tokenization platform for agricultural products.
