dc.description.abstract | This chapter begins with a wake-up call to the violation of Human Rights by the use of chemical weapons, in the light of International Law and International Humanitarian Law, marking the premises for the analysis of the position of Russia and the EU against the use of chemical weapons against the civilian population in Syria. Attention will also be paid to the connection between cyber threats and chemical weapons, with the possible intervention of terrorist groups. With regard to biological weapons, it will be shown that we were not prepared for the risks and devastating consequences caused by biological agents, having previously underestimated this threat and, consequently, biological weapons | en-GB |
