Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso en Adolescentes con Ansiedad Social
Abstract
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is one of what are called third-generation or contextual therapies. The purpose of this therapy is that the person achieves a satisfactory life where exists room for the acceptance of certain discomfort. In this work, we specifically see the efficacy of ACT in adolescents who suffer from social anxiety, a problem that is currently being increased because of the pandemic situation experienced which has greatly affected this population. In order to validate this, an exhaustive search has been carried out in different databases of the existing literature on the application and efficacy of ACT in the child and adolescent population with social anxiety.
