Debido a que en la actualidad el terrorismo químico, biológico, radiológico y nuclear cobra especial importancia; en el siguiente trabajo se ha definido qué es el terrorismo QBRN, sus orígenes y las armas que lo componen. La proliferación de este tipo de terrorismo requiere de un refuerzo legal estricto y es por ello que en esta revisión se ha abordado la normativa vigente más importante y sus aspectos criminológicos más relevantes. Asimismo, se ha precisado el uso de las armas QBRN debido a la seria amenaza que representan y las devastadoras consecuencias de su uso, del mismo modo que se ha explicado el funcionamiento de algunos de los grupos terroristas involucrados en su utilización. Por último, en este trabajo se ha analizado un estudio de caso real con la finalidad de resumir el contenido teórico desarrollado a lo largo de este, así como para verificar el marco jurídico y la validez de las leyesDue to in the actual context the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear terrorism takes on special importance; in the following academic work has been defined the meaning of CBRN terrorism, its origins and the weapons which forms it. The proliferation of this kind of terrorism makes the necessity to create a legal strict reinforcement and that is why in this revision the current regulation and its principal criminological aspects have been presented. Furthermore, the use of the CBRN weapons has been specified due to the serious threat they represent and the devastating consequences they provoke, as well as the explanation of the functioning of some of the terrorist groups involved is these activities. Lastly, in this work a real case study has been analyzed in order to resume the theory content developed throughout it, as to verify the legal frame and the validity of the laws.
