Ejercicios. Few art images are used in the Exercises. At most I know
used to illustrate a previous discourse, but not as the scope and the
the language of the sentence itself. Here is a new way of giving
and do the Exercises: from the leisurely contemplation of works of
art. With some references to the book of Exercises we will verify
how this new proposal is in line with what Saint Ignatius wanted
that they were: an endearing transformation in the depths, at the level of
the spiritual senses, through affectionate encounters and conversations
with the Lord. In addition, this proposal avoids two major quagmires
who give too much weight to mental effort and to the one who gives the
Exercises.
