Abstract

El texto se refiere a la educación en las instituciones de educación superior, específicamente en aquellas que se identifican con la tradición de san Ignacio y forman parte de la red UNIJES. Se destaca que estas instituciones tienen un enfoque genuino de educación que busca formar personas, profesionales y ciudadanos competentes, comprometidos, conscientes y compasivos.

En el texto se menciona la técnica de docencia llamada COdocencia, la cual consiste en que varios docentes imparten una misma materia en el aula, lo que permite al estudiante tener acceso a diferentes puntos de vista y adaptar la formación a grupos más reducidos. Se resalta que la COdocencia bien planificada y desarrollada en el aula refleja el compromiso de los docentes con su tarea, lo que puede favorecer a que el estudiante se vea interpelado y aumente su compromiso con el aprendizaje.

Se destaca que la COdocencia permite alcanzar mayores cotas en el aprendizaje del estudiante y mejora la formación del docente, ya que adquiere retroalimentación constructiva por parte de sus homólogos y puede mejorar su desempeño en el aula. Para que la COdocencia sea efectiva se requiere de docentes competentes en la materia, comprometidos con la institución y sus valores, conscientes de la oportunidad que brinda esta metodología para la mejora del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y, finalmente, profesores compasivos con los discentes que tienen dificultades para aprender y con otros docentes que puedan requerir ayuda en el desarrollo de su labor educativa.

The text refers to education in higher education institutions, specifically those that identify with the tradition of Saint Ignatius and are part of the UNIJES network. It is highlighted that these institutions have a genuine approach to education that seeks to train competent, committed, conscious and compassionate people, professionals and citizens.

The text mentions the teaching technique called CO-teaching, which consists of several teachers teaching the same subject in the classroom, which allows the student to have access to different points of view and adapt the training to smaller groups. It is highlighted that well-planned and developed CO-teaching in the classroom reflects the teachers' commitment to their task, which can help the student to be challenged and increase their commitment to learning.

It is highlighted that CO-teaching allows students to reach higher levels of learning and improves teacher training, since they acquire constructive feedback from their peers and can improve their performance in the classroom. For COteaching to be effective, competent teachers in the subject are required, committed to the institution and its values, aware of the opportunity that this methodology offers to improve the teaching-learning process and, finally, compassionate teachers with the students who have difficulties learning and with other teachers who may require help in the development of their educational work.
