El abrazo en el arte: un recorrido espiritual

Abstract

El abrazo es de todos; un arte divinamente humano. Al igual que en la vida, el abrazo abunda en el arte, pero lo hace de modo discreto. Este libro recoge treinta abrazos de varios artistas, donde se desenvuelven escenas muy corrientes y cotidianas. Una muestra o colección que resalta lo mejor del ser humano: su capacidad para trascenderse, de abrirse, de salir de sí mismo y de abrazar a otra persona.

Para aprovechar aún más el trasfondo espiritual del arte, se adjunta el cuaderno "Fichas de oración". En él se ofrecen pautas sencillas para rezar con las imágenes de este libro. Siguiendo el formato ignaciano de ocho días de ejercicios espirituales, y la dinámica y la mistagogía propuestas por san Ignacio, se ofrecen aquí sugerencias, lecturas bíblicas, pistas y oraciones para llevar el arte a su más excelsa cima, donde Dios habla de tú a tú.
