<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es-ES" mdschema="dc">El texto se centra en la metodología de Aprendizaje-Servicio (ApS) en el contexto de las instituciones de educación superior de la Compañía de Jesús, especialmente las que forman parte de la red UNIJES. Se destaca que el ApS encaja perfectamente con la tradición y la misión jesuita de acompañar y formar personas, profesionales y ciudadanos competentes, comprometidos, conscientes y compasivos. Además, se relaciona el ApS con la noción de effatá (abrirse) en la espiritualidad ignaciana, destacando que la metodología ayuda a los estudiantes a abrirse a la realidad y transformarla de manera constructiva. Se cita al P. Kolvenbach y al Papa Francisco, quienes subrayan la importancia del ApS como un medio para formar personas disponibles que se pongan al servicio de la comunidad, y se resalta que esta metodología permite vehicular y dar un cauce organizado a diversos e importantes aspectos de la pedagogía ignaciana.</dim:field>
<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="en-GB" mdschema="dc">The text focuses on the Service-Learning (ApS) methodology in the context of higher education institutions of the Society of Jesus, especially those that are part of the UNIJES network. It is highlighted that the ApS fits perfectly with the Jesuit tradition and mission of accompanying and training competent, committed, conscientious and compassionate people, professionals and citizens. In addition, the ApS is related to the notion of effatá (opening up) in Ignatian spirituality, highlighting that the methodology helps students to open up to reality and transform it in a constructive way. Fr. Kolvenbach and Pope Francis are quoted, who underline the importance of ApS as a means to train available people who put themselves at the service of the community, and it is highlighted that this methodology allows to channel and give an organized channel to diverse and important aspects of Ignatian pedagogy.</dim:field>
