dc.description.abstract | This thesis gathers around the role of the European Commission in digital communication towards the Spanish population through X (formerly Twitter). Throughout this work, the digital bond between the mentioned country and the institution will be deeply analyzed, pros and cons will be exposed, and a final proposal will be shown in order to improve this relationship and make the best out of this social platform. In order to analyze this bond, a survey and an analysis of the tweets of the Spanish Commission’s X account from November 1st to January 1st were analyzed. As a result, Spanish citizens feel European and believe in the mission, vision and values of the European Union, but do not engage much with this platform’s account. Finally, a proposal is suggested to promote and improve this relationship. | en-GB |
