Adentrarse en "El Mar de Plástico": Caso de Almería: la agricultura intensiva y el acceso a los derechos fundamentales en el siglo XXI

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se centrará dar visibilidad a la situación que viven muchos inmigrantes que trabajan en la agricultura intensiva en la provincia de Almería en el periodo histórico que estamos viviendo actualmente del siglo XXI. Se buscará conocer cómo funciona el acceso a los derechos fundamentales por parte estos inmigrantes. Así como cuáles son las autoridades competentes para la implementación de las políticas relacionadas con la integración de estos migrantes y que políticas se están llevando a cabo actualmente. En cuanto a la metodología, se empleará principalmente un enfoque cualitativo, basado en el análisis de fuentes primarias y secundarias. Además, se estudiarán algunos de los proyectos de integración que se están implementando en la región. Se espera que este estudio permita identificar la situación de la población inmigrante en los campos de Almería y evaluar el acceso que tienen estas personas a los derechos fundamentales.

This research paper will focus on giving visibility to the situation experienced by many immigrants working in intensive agriculture in the province of Almeria, Spain in the historical period we are currently living, the 21st century. The aim is to find out how access to fundamental rights works for these immigrants. As well as which are the competent authorities for the implementation of policies related to the integration of these migrants and what policies are currently being carried out. In terms of methodology, a qualitative approach will be used, based on the analysis of primary and secondary sources. In addition, some of the integration projects being implemented in the region will be studied. It is hoped that this study will allow us to identify the situation of the immigrant population in Almeria and to evaluate the access these people have to fundamental rights.
