APEGO INFANTIL: UN ENFOQUE CUALITATIVO QUE INTEGRA LA ENTREVISTA DE APEGO INFANTIL Y EL ATTACHMENT PICTURES STORY.

Abstract

La teoría del apego describe el sistema biológico de apego como una tendencia innata en el ser humano que lo lleva a establecer vínculos emocionales con su cuidador principal, considerado la figura de apego. Este sistema va a interiorizarse a través de los modelos operativos internos que van a influir en la manera que las personas se relacionan con los demás y manejan sus emociones a lo largo de la vida. El objetivo de este trabajo fue comprender en profundidad las experiencias del apego infantil desde la perspectiva de los propios infantes. Para evaluar los estilos de apego se utilizaron las herramientas de Entrevista de Apego Infantil, la prueba Attachment Pictures Story y una anamnesis a los padres. El estudio incluyó a cinco infantes voluntarios comprendidos entre los siete y once años. Los resultados confirman que el apego puede medirse a través de diversas pruebas y que el estilo de apego configura el modelo operativo del niño. Además, se identificaron varias variables y experiencias que influyen en la formación del estilo de apego, tales como el embarazo, el parto y el posparto, el temperamento y las experiencias de separación y reencuentro. También se comprobó que el estilo de apego puede ser un predictor de salud o patología. Utilizar diferentes recursos para evaluar y comprender el apego infantil resulta útil, y los datos obtenidos en este estudio convergieron con lo establecido en la literatura existente.

ABSTRACT Attachment theory describes the biological attachment system as an innate tendency for humans to form emotional bonds with their primary caregiver, considered the attachment figure. This system will be internalised through internal operating models that will influence the way people relate to others and manage their emotions throughout life. The aim of this work was to gain an in-depth understanding of infant attachment experiences from the perspective of the infants themselves. The tools used to evaluate attachment styles were Infant Attachment Interview, the Attachment Pictures Story and a parental anamnesis. The study included five volunteer infants between the ages of seven and eleven years. The results confirm that attachment can be measured through a variety of tests and that attachment style shapes the child's operating model. In addition, several variables and experiences were identified that influence the formation of attachment style, such as pregnancy, birth and postpartum, temperament, and separation and reunion experiences. It was also found that attachment style can be a predictor of health or pathology. Using different resources to assess and understand infant attachment is useful, and the data obtained in this study converged with the existing literature.
