El camino hacia un sistema eléctrico sostenible

Abstract

El camino iniciado hacia la sostenibilidad energética va a estar plagado de dificultades que habrá que ir sorteando. El periodo de precios altos de la energía no es sino un aviso de las dificultades que nos esperan. Se debe hacer un esfuerzo especial en tratar de explorar las posibles dificultades que se pueden presentar y en disponer de respuestas adecuadas ante esas dificultades. Sin embargo, se pueden presentar dificultades que actualmente no podemos ni imaginar y que van a requerir de la máxima flexibilidad y capacidad de respuesta, extremos que no son fáciles de conseguir con inversiones a largo plazo como se dan en el sistema eléctrico. Mientras que a largo plazo, acelerar la implantación de generación renovable y almacenamiento, es imprescindible, a plazo medio desarrollar aceleradamente el autoconsumo y las comunidades energéticas son medidas para paliar los efectos negativos de un alza continuada de precios de la energía, junto a una revisión a fondo del mercado común europeo de la energía. Y todo ello considerando la oportunidad que se presenta de apoyar las zonas despobladas de España.

And all this considering the opportunity that arises to support the depopulated areas of Spain.
