La genética intrínseca del contrato de seguro parte de una realidad clara, a saber, la asimetría informativa, pero también de la incomplitud de los contratos. Toda esta vulnerabilidad se agudiza cuando en la selección de los riesgos se emplean algoritmos. Asistimos a un debate creciente sobre el uso neutral y controlando los sesgos algorítmicos y su impacto en el seguro y la selección de los riesgos incluidos en las coberturas
