From an essentially immanent and synchronic perspective, we will delve into the prayer experience of Jesus, taking into account the theory of speech acts, as well as some brief incursions into mystics. We will build our discourse based on the molds of that branch of language that is pragmalinguistics, but without disregarding the pastoral reach throughout our reflection. In this regard, we find it fundamental to consider the pragmatic dimension of Scripture, taking advantage of its original nature, that is, a text to be put into practice. Here, we seek to remain attentive to the performative potential of the Word. To investigate the transcendent communicative action of the text itself, an action that at the same time illuminates it in its ultimate and deepest meaning.
