La Inteligencia Artificial generativa (ChatGPT) y la desaparición de los juristas

Abstract

Los 28 Encuentros de Filosofía de la Fundación Gustavo Bueno celebrados en Salamanca entre los días 29 de septiembre y 1º de octubre de 2023 llevaron por título Filosofía, inteligencia artificial y nuevas tecnologías. Entre las tres líneas de discusión establecidas dedicadas a las cuestiones gnoseológicas, cuestiones ontológicas y cuestiones éticas, morales y políticas, fue la última de ellas la que propició abordar el impacto de la Inteligencia Artificial generativa (circunscrita a la irrupción de ChatGPT en noviembre de 2022) en el mundo del Derecho. La desaparición de los juristas, haciendo especial referencia a abogados y jueces, es el tópico que desde hace un año constituye una de las preocupaciones que se cierne sobre el orbe jurídico. La interacción con la propia herramienta no hace sino aumentar la querencia por las conjeturas que se cobijan, a modo de conclusiones, bajo el calificativo de provisionalísimas o precautelares.

The 28th Philosophy Meetings of the Gustavo Bueno Foundation held in Salamanca between 29th September and 1st October 2023 were entitled Philosophy, Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies. Among the three established lines of discussion dedicated to gnoseological questions, ontological questions and ethical, moral and political questions, it was the last of these that led to addressing the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (circumscribed to the irruption of ChatGPT in November 2022) on the world of Law. The disappearance of jurists, with particular reference to lawyers and judges, is the topic that has been one of the concerns looming over the legal world for the past year. Interaction with the tool itself only increases the preference for conjecture, which, in the form of conclusions, is labelled as provisional or precautionary.
