Abstract

El artículo presenta la película a través del director, el protagonista y la vida del escritor británico C.S. Lewis en sus últimos años (1952-1963). Se analiza el valor de la magia para conocer la profundidad de la vida, el sentido del sufrimiento y la experiencia de amor con la poetisa americana Joy Gresham y cómo amor y sufrimiento son dos sentimientos profundamente vinculados y abiertos a la esperanza. Detrás de cada curva o cresta de una colina puede volverse a ver el sol.

The article presents the film through the director, the protagonist and the life of the British writer C.S. Lewis in his later years (1952-1963). We analyze the value of magic to discover the depth of life, the meaning of suffering and the experience of love with the American poet Joy Gresham and how love and suffering are two deeply linked feelings and open to hope. Behind every curve or crest of a hill the sun can be seen again
