Fundamentando la autoría teológica femenina: sobre las hermenéuticas del profetismoen el conorte (s. XVI)

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar que las terciarias franciscanas que escribieron el libro del Conorte a comienzos del siglo XVI teorizaron sobre la autoría femenina desde una perspectiva de denuncia de género. Para ello, se analiza el sermón que Juana de la Cruz predicó con motivo de la fiesta de la Visitación, número 32 del libro. Dicho sermón se confeccionó a partir de los textos que fundamentaban la liturgia de la fiesta; el estudio del uso que las autoras hicieron de ellos muestra que realizaron una exégesis original de los mismos. A partir suyo construyeron toda una argumentación en torno al conocimiento de la verdad y fundamentaron teóricamente la autoría teológica femenina. Estas aportaciones han de inscribirse en un marco de conciencia y denuncia de las injusticias del sistema de género. Todo ello resulta muy revelador de la cultura femenina que se gestó en España en el marco de la reforma preconizada por la Observancia franciscana.

The objective of this article is to show that the Franciscan tertiaries who wrote the book of Conorte at the beginning of the 16th century theorized about female authorship from a perspective of gender denunciation. In order to show this, we analyze the sermon preached by Juana de la Cruz on the occasion of the Feast of the Visitation, number 32 of the book. This sermon was made from the texts that founded the liturgy of the feast; the study of the author’s use of them shows that they made an original exegesis. They built an entire argument around the knowledge of the truth and theoretically founded the female theological authorship. These contributions must be part of a framework of awareness and denunciation of the injustices of the gender system. All this is very revealing of the feminine culture that was developed in Spain within the framework of the reform advocated by the Franciscan Observance.
