Abstract

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analiza los experimentos médicos realizados por el régimen nazi a sus prisioneros de los campos de concentración durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Mediante una perspectiva interdisciplinaria, se analizan las motivaciones ideológicas, la ausencia de rigurosidad científica, el efecto físico y psicológico en las víctimas, además de la aceptación de estos experimentos en el ámbito médico y su impacto en la ética de la investigación. Se destaca la influencia de estos delitos en la evolución del Código de Núremberg y en la formación de regulaciones internacionales en materia de bioética y derechos humanos. Además, se aborda la responsabilidad criminal de los médicos implicados y el desarrollo de la política criminal en relación con delitos contra la humanidad. Finalmente, se medita sobre las lecciones aprendidas y la importancia de conservar la memoria histórica para evitar futuras transgresiones éticas en la investigación biomédica.

This Final Degree Project analyzes the medical experiments conducted by the Nazi regime on prisoners in concentration camps during World War II. Through an interdisciplinary perspective, it examines the ideological motivations, the lack of scientific rigor, the physical and psychological effects on the victims, as well as the reception of these experiments within the medical field and their impact on research ethics. The study highlights the influence of these crimes on the development of the Nuremberg Code and the establishment of international regulations on bioethics and human rights. Additionally, it addresses the criminal responsibility of the physicians involved and the evolution of criminal policy concerning crimes against humanity. Finally, it reflects on the lessons learned and the importance of preserving historical memory to prevent future ethical transgressions in biomedical research.
