Abstract
This Final Degree Project focuses on the analysis of maintenance and logistics in offshore wind farms, using the Saint-Brieuc wind farm developed by Iberdrola as a case study. The project addresses the technical and logistical challenges associated with the installation and operation of turbines in a marine environment, where adverse weather conditions and remote locations complicate operations. Preventive and corrective maintenance strategies are evaluated, as well as the use of advanced technologies, such as sensors and monitoring systems, to improve efficiency and minimize downtime. The work also examines how these practices can contribute to the sustainability of the wind farm and the protection of the marine environment. Additionally, the coordination between onshore bases and offshore operations is analyzed, highlighting the importance of optimized logistics for the transportation of personnel and equipment. Finally, recommendations are proposed to improve the operability and sustainability of offshore wind farms, considering both cost reduction and energy production maximization.
