"¡Ojalá fueran todos profetas!" (Nm 11, 29) ¿Atisbos de sinodalidad en el libro de los Números?
Abstract
El artículo ofrece una contribución a la comprensión de la sinodalidad desde
el punto de vista bíblico. En particular, el intento perseguido es mostrar cómo algunos
de los fundamentos de la sinodalidad que emergen claramente en el Nuevo
Testamento pueden remontarse ya a la herencia religiosa y espiritual del antiguo Israel,
conservada en el Antiguo Testamento. Para ello, se elige el relato de la elección de los
setenta ancianos (Nm 11,4-30), centrado en el tema del ejercicio de la autoridad en el
pueblo de Israel. A través del análisis exegético del relato y del estudio semántico de
las palabras clave, se tratará de demostrar la tesis de que el relato apunta al tema
de una autoridad compartida entre los diferentes componentes del pueblo de Dios. The article offers a contribution to the understanding of synodality from
the biblical point of view. In particular, the intended attempt is to show how some
of the foundations of synodality that clearly emerge in the New Testament can already be traced back to the religious and spiritual heritage of ancient Israel, preserved
“in the Old Testament. For this, the story of the election of the seventy elders contained
in Nm 11,4-30 is chosen, focused on the theme of the exercise of authority in the
people of Israel. Through the exegetical analysis of the story and the semantic study
of the key words, we will try to demonstrate that the story points to the theme of a
shared authority among the different components of the people of God.
