Actitudes hacia la integración de los inmigrantes en España

Abstract

.El texto analiza las actitudes de los españoles hacia los inmigrantes, enmarcado en el proyecto "Global Answer" financiado por la UE. Se estudia la percepción ciudadana frente a la inmigración en España mediante encuestas y su relación con factores socioeconómicos y culturales. La metodología utilizada es cuantitativa, basada en una encuesta de 1200 personas residentes en España, incluyendo un 15% de extranjeros.

Se observan diversas percepciones sobre la inmigración. Por un lado, la mayoría de los encuestados consideran que la inmigración enriquece la cultura local, aunque este sentimiento disminuye entre las personas mayores de 65 años y aquellos con menos educación. En cuanto al impacto en el empleo, un 59,6% cree que los inmigrantes realizan trabajos que los españoles no desean hacer, mientras que solo un 27,8% piensa que les quitan empleos.

La investigación revela que los grupos con actitudes más negativas hacia los inmigrantes son los mayores de 65 años y aquellos con ideologías de extrema derecha. Sin embargo, el informe concluye que en general la sociedad española ha desarrollado una actitud favorable hacia la integración, aunque se advierte que podría haber un cambio en el futuro si no se promueven políticas públicas adecuadas para gestionar la integración de los inmigrantes.
