¿Hacia una teoría o paradigma católico de Relaciones Internacionales?

A pesar de que la religión parece ser un factor bastante olvidado dentro de las relaciones internacionales, algunos acontecimientos históricos recientes o figuras de referencia internacional como el papa Francisco hacen pensar que ya no pueden caminar separadas, y diversos investigadores han planteado la existencia de una teoría o paradigma católico de las relaciones internacionales (CTIR o CPIR en sus siglas en inglés). Las contribuciones de diferentes autores han ido asentando las bases de estas teorías: responsabilidad moral, perdón del enemigo, búsqueda de la paz y desarme, derechos humanos, solidaridad... El fundamento de la CTIR/CPIR se encontraría en la encíclica de Juan XXIII Pacem in Terris: la verdad como fundamento, la justicia como regla, el amor como motor y la libertad como clima . -
