Efectividad de la inclusión de EMG-Biofeedback en el tratamiento habitual de la condromalacia rotuliana

La condromalacia rotuliana está definida como el ablandamiento, degradación y fibrilación del cartílago, sustancia suave que cubre la rótula por su parte posterior. El objetivo de este estudio es valorar la efectividad de incluir EMG-Biofeedback en el tratamiento habitual de la condromalacia rotuliana, y para ello se harán dos grupos, un grupo control al que se le aplicará el tratamiento habitual y un grupo experimental al que se le aplicará además del tratamiento habitual, EMG-Biofeedback. Se evaluarán las variables dolor, funcionalidad y momento máximo de fuerza pre y post intervención. Chondromalacia patellae defined as cartilaginous softening, degradation and fibrillation of the patellar bone cartilage that covers the posterior side of the patella. The objective of this project is to study the efficacy of the inclusion of EMG-Biofeedback in the habitual treatment of chondromalacia patellae. The methods of this study are to create two groups, one control group that will be receiving the habitual treatment and another experimental group that will also receive the habitual treatment plus EMG-Biofeeback therapy. The variables of pain, function and peak torque will be evaluated before and after the intervention.
