Causas y consecuencias sobre la crisis financiera

Abstract

En este trabajo se plantean cuáles fueron los riesgos sistémicos que se manifestaron en la crisis de 2007. En el primer apartado, se realiza un repaso de la coyuntura económica de los años anteriores a 2007 abordando cuestiones como el contexto de la economía Española, de la economía internacional y de la zona Euro; posteriormente se abordará el pensamiento económico desde el acuerdo de Bretton Woods hasta 1970 y finalmente se profundizará en el tema de la Innovación financiera, poniendo el foco en el sistema de titulización, y en la Desregulación donde la derogación del Acta Glass-Steagall supondrá el elemento central.

This paper provides information about the systemic risks that manifested in the 2007 crisis. In the first section, a review of the economic situation of the years before the crisis is made, taking into account the context of the Spanish economy, the international economy and the Euro zone. Subsequently, the economic thinking will be addressed from the Bretton Woods agreement until 1970 and finally the issue of financial innovation will be deepened, placing the focus on the securitization system, and the deregulation where the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act will be the central element.
